Who Is Fidias?

My Journey

I was born in Meniko, a small village in the small country of Cyprus, the son of a Greek Orthodox priest and the middle child of five brothers and one sister.

Life in the village was simple, but even as a kid, I dreamed of doing things bigger than anyone around me thought possible. Those early years gave me the resilience that still guide me today.

During my mandatory military service, I earned a place in the Navy SEALs. Every day pushed me to the edge: cold water dives, endless marches, sleepless nights, and exercises designed to break you down until quitting felt like the only option. What I learned was that pain ends, but quitting stays with you.

That experience changed how I see challenges. I realized that discipline is a choice you make once, and every moment after is about honoring that decision. It taught me to trust myself when fear creeps in. Those lessons followed me into every chapter of my life. Navy SEAL training gave me the mindset to build a life defined by risk and relentless pursuit of what feels impossible.

In 2019, I decided to become a YouTuber, and quickly discovered that it was my passion. Soon after, I flew to the US with just a camera and the idea of pursuing this dream. I studied thumbnails and retention like a scientist, and kept pushing the envelope with bigger ideas and tougher challenges.

Soon, the challenges started getting bigger and a lot crazier. I camped in airports, got buried alive for 10 days and I even slept for 85 days outside SpaceX just to hug Elon Musk.

Before long, the channel had made me millions of dollars, money I never imagined when I was filming with a tiny camera and sleeping on couches. But most importantly, I learned how to treat social media like a superpower, and figured out how to use platforms to get what I wanted.

In 2024, I pulled my biggest stunt yet, I ran for the European Parliament. At first, everyone thought it was a joke: a YouTuber with no party, no political background, and zero idea how politics even works. But that was exactly the point. I wanted to show that if you don’t like the system, you can still shake it up. So I put my name on the ballot, campaigned with nothing but raw energy and the internet behind me… and shocked the whole country by winning. With 19.4% of the vote, I became the first independent MEP ever elected in Cyprus and the most voted candidate ever.

And I didn’t stop being me once I got in. I sat in Parliament with the same hoodie I wore on YouTube. I told people straight up: I’m here to drag politics into the 21st century. I’m now working on building an app where citizens can vote directly on issues, turning social media into real democracy.

Today, I bring these experiences to stages around the world. My keynotes are unfiltered stories of failure, resilience, and triumph.
